Law of England as to foreshore and open seas with in the territorial limits, applies to the Straits Settlements, subject to
any
modifications required by local customs.
(3) I assume that the same law. would be held to apply to Hongkong and, therefore, it may
well be that, in theory. at all events, the Lease and reclamatioa
would involve inteference with public rights of fishing and navigation. Iu fact, however, I do not think the interference
